Addressing COVID-19: putting people first

We consider our guests and employees part of the Jim’s Sports Club Family, and their welfare and well-being are our top priority. We are doing everything we can to closely track Coronavirus (COVID-19) so that we can continue to serve you while also protecting health and safety.

With that in mind, we want to assure you that, as always, we are operating under our already established high standards and closely following recommended protocol in our restaurant. Our standards exist precisely for this reason and are even more important in the current environment.

What We’re Doing: 3 Key Actions

  1. Using this opportunity to further educate our staff on how to maintain industry-leading operational standards through continual cleaning and sanitization. We have upgraded existing cleaning supplies based on guidance from the CDC to ensure proper disinfection and have provided staff with necessary tracking and verification tools to confirm compliance.
  2. Ensuring that our staff members come to work healthy and that while at work, established cleaning and sanitation procedures, like handwashing, which are already in place, are not only met, but exceeded. Requiring staff members exhibiting any symptoms of illness to stay home.
  3. Taking steps to support social distancing, by offering food to eat at home, via take-out or delivery. We have curbside service for take-out orders, meaning guests can order, pay and receive their food without having to interact significantly with others.

What is Jim’s Sports Club’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak?

We continue to follow our existing industry-leading protocols, which prepare us for unforeseen events like COVID-19. In addition, we have increased sanitation of high-touch and high-traffic areas.

Should I be concerned about the safety of my meal from Jim’s Sports Club?

According to FDA, there is currently no evidence to suggest that food produced in the United States can transmit COVID-19.

Do you have additional protections against this virus in your restaurant?

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has published a list of chemicals that have been validated to be effective against SARS-CoV-2, the specific coronavirus that causes COVID-19. This list includes hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. You can view the entire list of products on the EPA’s website.
